  • How to 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘥 your body? 

According to the Vedantas, our body is divided into 5 dimensions (pancha koshas) : 

Physical body (anamaya kosha) ― food   
Energetic body (pranayama kosha) ― energy/breath
Mental body (manomaya kosha) ― thoughts  
Wisdom body (vijnamaya kosha) ― intuition 
Bliss body (anandamaya kosha) ― bliss 

Koshas are the key to enhance awareness of your inner world.

How to connect with the pancha koshas in a yoga session ? 

― in each pose, become aware of your physical body, both externally and internally. close your eyes and visualize your face, throat, chest, arms, etc. one by one and all the way down. 

― next, notice how your breath affects your body and mind. Breath into any areas of tension or tightness. 

― if you feel floaty, ground yourself physically by using your intuition to place your hands on any area of your body.

― sit in a confortable posture, close your eyes and feel/visualize the 5 layers in different vibrant colors. focus 5 counts on each layer.

Keep arms on the exact same line

2# 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙡 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧'𝙨 𝙠𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙨
walk backwards from head > toes of your patner 
sit on partners flexed feet (bent knees)
curl toes/feet into partner's inner knees 
keep the curling press so you don't fall (:

3# 𝙤𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙥𝙡𝙞𝙩
or any other fun variation

Your partner (on the mat) always keeps his.her shoulders pressed on the mat so the arms can stay strong and straight.

  • Hibiscus & Ayurveda facts : 

Did you know ? — 

There are around 300 species of hibiscus. Ayurveda considers "Hibiscus sabdariffa" as the most interesting in the healthcare system.

Good for Pitta and Kapha dosha because it cools down and balances the excess of heat in the body (not for Vata dosha). 

Heals heart, kidney and liver functions, also enhances blood circulation. 

Looks like the elephant-headed god Ganesha, who is known as the “destroyer of obstacles” and said to grant the realization of all of our life goals. Brings harmony, love and sense of inner peace.

Homemade DIY recipes — 

Make a hibiscus potion : a cup of warm water, 1/2 tea spoon of hibiscus powder or dried flowers. Infuse and drink your intense ruby potion. 

Make a homemade hair mask : mix water+powder and make it a think paste for lustrous hair. Keep it 30 min then rinse.

Make a homemade face mask : same recipe + add a tea spoon of honey to the mixture for extra glow (cleanses pores, exfoliates, tightens the wrinkles, etc.)
